Credit Union President's Report

Fall 2009

I am privileged and honored to serve as President of the CCAC Federal Credit Union. I will do my best in this fiduciary capacity to serve our membership well. We have been blessed over the years to have capable Board members, dedicated Supervisory Committee leadership and quality employees such as Darlene Hochendoner working on our behalf. I’d also like to extend a note of thanks and praise the outstanding work and stewardship of our immediate past Acting President, Greg Polk. Greg provided steady leadership during these uncertain economic times and remains on our Board.

The Board and Supervisory Committee are in the process of updating a number of the CU’s institutional policies such as our Disaster Recovery, Risk Based Lending and Security policies. Concurrently we are benchmarking these with other institutions’ Best Practices and our Auditors. This course of action will continue until completion in the coming months.
As always, your Credit Union looks for ways to serve your needs. In this regard, we are reintroducing the Holiday Loan sale this year. It begins on October 15th and qualified members can borrow up to $1, 000.
